EPSON black printing ink without color?
I am using EPSON TX300F. The black ink cartridge is full, while the other colors (CMY) are almost empty. How I can print black-n-white documents, without replacing the CMY cartridges? I rarely use colors to print documents I can overlook the request for temporary replacement? Im in need of printing documents at this time!
You can not. The printer is designed to refuse to print unless all the colors are of an acceptable level. It has a practical reason for doing that and it is to protect the printhead from burning out due to lack of ink, which acts as a lubricant to the printhead. If you rarely use the color may be better to use a monochrome laser printer because they use only a single cartridge black toner cartridge at a time.
