on a Canon Power Shot A550 digital use and understanding of the instructions?
have used 35mm SLR cameras for years and consider myself well versed in that use and understand technology very well. bought digital camera to move in the 20th century and do not understand one thing "I need digital cameras Dummies "is a book and if so where I can get. or any other simplified information that will help me untangle the instruction manual. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Despite following the instructions and "repeat" the steps that are confused and the results are differant. HELP! have used all available information in the Canon website and still no clarity
A550 is a nice automatic camera. The reason why is because you are experiencing difficulties Missed all the controls that used to have with an SLR camera. My suggestion is to try to disable many automatic functions as possible to make some checks again. Try these: Use M mode is activated using the AiAF metering mode use Auto ISO not not use the flash automatically selects the appropriate option white balance settings Pay attention to shutter speed and aperture size in the middle of the press using indirect Exposure Compensation shutter and aperture settings for specific problems What are you seeing?
