02.21 Xerox Phaser 8200 error?
Hello, I have a Xerox Phaser 8200 that is giving a printhead NVRAM 21.02 therm OK error response. According to the service manual, check the connections to the print head or replace the print head. The connections are good and tight and I have replaced the print head twice now, one has been renovated, and the other was from Xerox and both give the same error. Xerox is the use of OEM ink for 8200 and no other. I have also replaced the power control board that the ribbon cable to the print head is connected and still does the same. Any idea where to go from here? Replacing the printer is not an option. Thanks
Sounds like you did a good job so far, and two print heads w / NVRAM therefore should not be bad. Sure to replace the motherboard and test the connection and wiring between it and the power control board. Check carefully for any damaged connectors or cables. It Otherwise I would have to replace the ribbon cable to the print head as it can be damaged in a way that you can not see and who has covered everything else. Best of luck.
