Are these components good for a HTPC and are there any conflicting components?
I’ m hooking this up to a sony 1080p hdtv. Any suggestions.

Yes, those are good HTPC components. They are low-heat parts that are easy to cool quietly so you can build an HTPC that doesn’t have loud fans droning away in the background while you are using your home theater to watch movies or listen to music.
Just make sure you get good quiet heatsink/fans for your CPU and GPU (the stock ones are usually too loud).
Keep in mind that if you use that 9600GT, it will most likely disable the HDMI output on your motherboard.
