how much video will a 1GB memory card hold in my Canon powershot?
I know it will hold around 250-300 pictures, but just curious if I can take a *decent* amount of video with it if I don’t want to take my camcorder with me somewhere.
It would depend on the Canon Powershot model that you have…for the SD870 IS, 3 minutes 57 seconds for a 512mb memory card – so just under 8 minutes for a 1gb memory card. (in the best video mode 640×480 at 30fps):
