How to buy a PC memory card?
I really like computer games but with my system I’m limited to the types of games I can buy based on my processor & memory. I would like to play games like CIV III or age of empire,roll playing games,empire building,etc, but my computer freezes or gives me a notice saying “you have low virtual memory,we’re increasing your paging file,etc” and then my game stops. I ran my system information and it says:
Total Physical Memory 128 MB
Avail memory 16.10 MB
Total Virtual memory 2.00 GB
Avail virtual memory 1.96
I have a Dell, Demention 2400 computer,Pentium 4 processor.
If I want to increase my memory to be able to play more advanced games,am I correct to buy a memory card? I would assume I’d need to buy something like 256MB, but how do I know if the memory card I buy is compatible. I looked at some on Amazon,but it doesn’t have system requirements for them.Can someone please help? Much appreciated!
