Whats the difference between a SanDisk 256MB CF memory Card SanDisk 256MB SD memory Card?
I just got a Optimus DS-5080 5.0MP Digital Camera as a gift.
The instructions say it needs a SanDisk 256MB SD memory Card, but I bought the SanDisk 256MB CF memory Card by mistake in an online auction.
The CF card claims to work on all digital camera’s but of course that cant be the case.
Doe’s anyone know if the CF is compatable with my camera?
If I know for sure its not going to work I can simply not open the package and re sell it on ebay when it arives just to break even.
im pretty sure the main difference here is size.
compact flash cards are pretty big and bulky and were used mainly in older camera’s.
SD cards are much smaller and compact.
So, if your camera says its sd, then you will only be able to use sd in it.
