Cartridge Canon Pixma iP3600 Review
The Canon Pixma iP3600 is part of the same range with the PIXMA iP4600. But it does not have some of the most characteristic iP4600 edge, such as automatic duplex printing, but manages to make a good impression.
Setup went smoothly setbacks. The last step is to print head alignment instructions, which involves choosing the most solid-looking rectangles printed on a test Print then enter the numbers printed next to him directly to a display interface. There are 3 pages of this, which can be somewhat tedious, it is worth worth doing well, although that certainly improves the printing quality a lot.
All prints looked great. In fact, even the draft text appears be very clear and easy to read, and letters, standard grade appeared to be as sharp as those produced by Canon LBP5050 laser printer and a little darker. 5pt small fonts so you can read, although a little confusing, as normal. paper showed excellent color photos, was accurate tones and shading in our charts and business charts.
We are also surprised by the iP3600 photo printing capabilities. Although the printer uses only four inks, color and shading of our photo prints were basically similar to those of many six-ink printers we've reviewed. Skin tones looked natural, dark colors and low contrast parts was well defined and bright colors appeared dazzling and impressive. The clarity and detail of our photos was in fact a of the best I've seen personally, a budget inkjet, without hesitation irregular grain or fuzzy edges.
The iP3600 comes with a head print separately, so if the injectors are clogged, you could just replace the head instead of pulling entire printer. Although it is a four-color printer, this really requires five individual ink cartridges for the Canon iP3600 to run., including both dye ink and pigment-based black. The pale coloring (CLI-521 cartridges) results in vibrant colors on photo paper, while the base pigment ink (PGI-520BK cartridge) was designed to sink in standard paper and dry instantly to create crisp text, no stains. Like the more expensive iP4600, this particular printer comes with a rear paper tray standard might take, as well as photo paper and a front-loading cartridge. The latter can store about one hundred fifty sheets of standard A4 and has a protective cover to prevent dust.
Monochrome print speed is quick 6.7ppm at normal quality. Draft print quality is quite good to use even for official documents, and printed at 9.3ppm. Joint documents were a little color longer to print in just 2.2ppm, however, this compares well with most inkjet printers. Mix colors are generally affordable prints 6p, as 2.3p per mono page costs are a little high.
If you want an inkjet for home use, the iP3600 combines exceptional print quality, low cost of color mixed with a low price. It is a great buy and if you really do not need a duplexer, is better value than the iP4600
