Why does it matter even ISO for Digital Cameras
In traditional film photography of the past, the film was based on ISO setting, also sometimes called the ASA. When you buy film, usually called a roll of ISO 64 or 100 or 200. The ISO is a measure of the sensitivity of the film light. The lower the ISO number, the less sensitive the film is to light. The higher the ISO number, the more sensitive the film is to light.
In practical terms what this meant was that when you were in low light, either indoors in a family case, you want a higher ISO sensitivity, maybe a 200 or 400.
