How saturation, contrast, sharpness, and digital cameras work?
In these three values of my camera has 5 levels: a "default" then + / – 2 levels. With the saturation, is the chamber absorb different amounts of color or adjust them in the process? With sharpness and contrast, then -2 values mean minimally processed – and hit the sensor – or is the default value "0" value? Ie -2 (left of the default 0) is the camera play the exhibition or in fact the United Nations camera sharpening from 0 to -2 to get? I would like to put my camera to get pictures with as little as possible.
it is best to start any value that is about the center and adjust from there ……………. 2 or 3 to the saturation of the home …. choosing a value in the center …. if you notice your colors are too bright are not bright enough then increase (for the brightest colors) or decrees (to tone color) contrast value again chose a value in the center …. if you notice that your photos are dark blacks chose a smaller number … or if the picture looks too muddy choose a higher number … -2 sharpening will be less strong … softer …. the higher the image number 2 is …. 2nd sharper but too cold hard edge of a portrait …. alittle chose a value on the center and 3 ….
