Leica point and shoot digital camera?
Can anyone tell me where Leica P / S are made? Are they better than other brands? I'm looking for a good P / S, not toys Nikon. Thank you very much!
Leica P & S cameras are made by Panasonic and others have said. They are probably better than the Leica and Panasonic brands would specify the rules to be applied Manufacturering, but it is not correct to assume they are better than all the cameras as "toys" Nikon. Leica does not need to build the best P & S cameras. It has a reputation for world-wide known that people will buy their products if they are good or not. The sale does not name the quality that is seriously considering a $ 5000 Leica rangefinder for a while. I was seduced by the name and the alleged quality. In the time it took me realized that this camera is not really much at all, it was better not built and the photos he took were not among the most prominent in the market at all. In fact, the comments were not complimentary at all. It's no different with P & S cameras. So I bought a toy from Nikon, the D200 instead of $ 1,600. The interesting thing is that Nikon is better built than the Leica rangefinder so richly functional and I am constantly receiving many outstanding images that I never would have made the Leica, because it does not provide the necessary tools and features despite being three times the price. If you need to impress your friends then by all means buy the Leica, but just keep in mind that'll impress them with the camera, but not necessariily with photos you take. There are better cameras on the market from Canon and Nikon to produce better images.
