Rebel XSi – pretty nice So Far
This camera is pretty good so far, I see many problems with it. However, there are some things that bother me right now is a size that is slightly more little of what I need with my hands anyway, I read the specs just feeling the camera is out of AA compared to my previous film Canon SLR and no surprise. Another is that digital noise was a bit annoying in some of my night photography, but not more than expected, the noise is not the same charm that has film grain however.
A team of a few minor complaints about size and noise of the camera, I'd be able to renounce ISO 50 or even 25 that maybe it could do with a firmware upgrade on the line. And I wished that the framework is completed at this price I can not complain but I do not have enough money to buy a higher end camera. The lens is good but nothing fantastic, it works well for about 2 or maybe 3 stops to swell. I've been using it heavily since late December and so far I feel confident in my decision to buy this camera. The colors are accurate and shoot RAW helps to keep in great detail in the image. All in all a good camera for an introduction to digital anything spectacular, but to do well enough for me.
On a side note I've been playing a lot with the assembly of other brand lenses on this camera comes with a bit of a back feel in the digital world without need to play around with Photoshop. So far I have used a back, and the target lens and has been able to produce some interesting images call him, still working on the best way to mount them, but I'll try to post some pictures once I worked.
I hope the review helps and I did not babble too much, its a good camera but you get what you pay for do not expect the best but you can make great pictures of it yet.
Rebel XSi – Perfect for the amateur Really!
This is my first digital SLR and a Christmas present for me. I did extensive research before I bought it and my decision go with the Rebel XSi mainly by the performance, although the price was included in a bit. In the end I was torn between the Rebel XSi and 40D, I wanted above all because was supposedly better in low light. I am also afraid to "outgrow" Rebel XSi with time and regret not buying more "professional" 40D. I went to Ritz Camera to handle both the 40D and decided it was too big for me, although I have larger hands. Plus 28-135mm kit lens for the 40D was not much of a wide angle as The goal of the kit for the rebel, and with the agreement on the Amazon now that you put the 55-250mm lens for $ 100 off was too good to pass up. So I bought it and I love it. I have not done much with the manual mode because I'm still learning.
I do not think it will never exceed this camera, unless you decide to become a professional photographer and he does for a living. This camera is easy to learn, perfect size to carry everywhere, and Amazon has the best deal around. This camera is really all you need if you just want to get your feet wet in photography. The automatic mode is enough for you to use the camera until the graduate to more advanced controls. Not even need to understand the exposure and white balance, the camera does all the work for you! One thing that worries me is that they are very cheap camera with great lens attached. It looks and feels great. Canon has a wide selection of accessories and lenses to make sure that I can grow my new hobby. None of the other companies seemed to offer both a competitive price. I'm in love with my camera and hopefully I'll learn to take pictures like textures.
